Edmunds continues to offer high quality service during pandemic
June 14th, 2020
The coronavirus pandemic sweeping the globe has challenged all of us to find new ways of working. At Edmunds, we have risen to that challenge and developed a new set of practises to ensure that we offer clients the same high-quality service despite the difficulties facing British business.
While some sites have been restricted due to building closures, Edmunds has continued to work. Now that lockdown restrictions are starting to ease, we’re moving things up a gear. Here’s what that means:
Our office-based staff, who have been working remotely during the crisis. Of course, our engineers don’t have that option – but they will be fitted with advanced PPE including gloves, masks, and sanitiser. In addition, our engineers will be avoiding public transport when possible and abiding by social distancing rules on site.
For the time being, all of our engineers’ appointments will be confirmed beforehand, ensuring we have client approval to be present at their site. When we are there, we will integrate our bespoke guidelines they have into our new Safe System of Work.
This new way of working was developed in light of the risks posed by COVID-19 to our staff and clients. Along with a risk assessment review, positions us perfectly to continue operating a top-notch facilities management service during the remainder of this outbreak.
So, while there might still be plenty of things to worry about, facilities management isn’t one of them.
If you want to make an appointment to discuss putting a facilities management agreement in place, or find out whether we’re the right company to work with your property, just give us a call on 01708 222221 or send us an email through our contact form
